PPBS Version 6.09 Update Notes
Filing system updated. The filing system is significantly faster. Order runs twice as fast.
No warning will be displayed when voiding Pulls. When re-pulling the same loan a second time, the existing stock number(s) will be updated automatically.
Pull Lists (Loans, Guns, Buys, Layaways) are saved as text in the \PPBS\LOG folder.
The release date of a gun can be updated when pulling guns.
When asked for a date in DataCenter, a calendar is available.
When editing a memo, exiting the window without saving first will discard edits. The Save button exits and saves.
Batch Loan and Batch Layaway Payments will not display transactions where a gun could be released. You will need to pay these individually.
After writing a transaction for a customer, you can re-use the same customer name on subsequent transactions. Watch for the prompt ^U to reuse <customer name>
Added a Holiday Schedule Setup application. This schedule is used to determine the first and last business day of each month. The Holiday Schedule printout and Holiday Schedule Setup are available in DataCenter under SETUP.
Set Price skips inventory items that are not on hand or are not For Sale. Press ^S to skip an inventory item if everything is already ok.
Locations Missing for Today: Lists transactions with missing locations from Loans, Buys and Layaways written today. Available in DataCenter under REPORT > Locations Missing for Today. Also prints at Closing if locations are required and any are missing. NOTE: If locations are required prior to closing, any missing locations will prevent closing until they are provided.
TX: In Texas, OCCC Disposition and Supplemental reports will be created during closing on the first business day of each month. You will be notified during opening the next day and you can have them copied to a flash drive. You must Close and Open on the same computer. The copy feature requires Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 or later. You can also manually copy them using DataCenter under REPORT > Copy OCCC Reports to Flash Drive.
ATF Download report will be created during closing on the first business day of each month. You will be notified during opening the next day and you can have it copied to a flash drive. You can also manually copy it using DataCenter under REPORT > Copy ATF Download to Flash Drive.

^B = GO BACK ONE DAY ^F = GO FORWARD ONE DAY ^T = GO TO BEGINNING OF MONTH DISPLAYED ^E = GO TO END OF MONTH DISPLAYED ^D = GO TO TODAY
